WeR@Home Security and Home Management won Top of Popularity in the 2018 SMAhome Premier Product Awards.
This award recognizes the most intuitive preference of the juries and onsite visitors of SMAhome International Conference and Exhibition 2018, held in Taipei. Since 1998 Secutech Taiwan is the leading trade fair for fire, safety and security electronic. It is the largest fair of its kind and opens exhibiting companies access to the Taiwanese security market.
Essence showed a unique Smart Home experience: WeR@Home, a complete security and home management IoT services platform, which adds value to the whole security chain.
“The platform is based on security and smart home so we do everything from the security and safety hardware. WE have a gateway that connects locally and wirelessly to security devices. We can expand through Z-wave to third-party home automation devices. All of this is managed through a user application with which you can manage the basics like arming and disarming an alarm system all the way to setting rules and scenarios,” Rafi Zauer, Head of Marketing at Essence, said. “We have vocie extension through Google and Amazon. We are on the IFTTT platform, Nest. We do a lot of back-end cloud-based integrations and it just makes the user experience engaging and seamless.”
